Carnival's Strong Position into 2025 Drives Estimates Higher -- Market Talk

1440 ET - Carnival seems to be off to a strong start coming into 2025, given that bookings for the year have been at record price and cumulative volume, UBS analysts say in a research note. The cruise company is expected to see gains from Celebration Key, its new private destination set to open in July, and Europe looks strong into 2025 with price climbing, the analysts add. UBS increases its 2025 EPS estimate to $1.87 from $1.82 previously, and its 2026 EPS views to $2.16 from $1.99, both coming ahead of Wall Street expectations of $1.72 and $2.06, respectively. UBS also raises its target price on the stock to $31 from $24. Shares rise 0.2% to $25.95. (sabela.ojea@wsj.com; @sabelaojeaguix)
