NIO’s Third Brand ‘Firefly’ Officially Announced

On December 18th, NIO‘s third brand “firefly” officially launched its official WeChat account, public account, and mini program. At the same time, the brand logo was also unveiled.

The image shows that the logo of Firefly is in the shape of a “Y”. The official statement says that the brand inspiration comes from fireflies’ “small and agile, full of energy, and vibrant” characteristics. The brand symbol is a flying glowing firefly: “The upper part resembles the wings of a firefly, symbolizing free flight; the lower part is the flickering light of a firefly, symbolizing inner strength.

In terms of brand positioning, the official statement indicates that this brand is created for “urban people who yearn for freedom and love life,” and it is an intelligent electric high-end small car brand originating from NIO.
