MT Newswires Live12-19

Globalstar (GSAT) said Wednesday it is collaborating with Hawk Networks to improve and simplify access to Globalstar's Band 53 satellite spectrum by network operators.

The companies said customers can now easily and quickly lease space on the Citizens Broadband Radio Service Band spectrum, connecting into Globalstar's 48 and 53 bands using Hawk Networks' Althea platform.

Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed. Globalstar and Hawk Networks in October disclosed plans to work together on expanding CBRS access.

Shares of Globalstar were up more than 2% in recent trading activity Wednesday.
