Cathay Pacific (HKG:0293) flew 2.01 million passengers in November, a 23.1% increase from the corresponding month a year ago, according to a Friday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
The airline carried 142,601 tons of cargo last month, an increase of 15% over November 2023.
Cathay Pacific added Cairns while HK Express added Phu Quoc, Hualien, and Shizuoka to the group's global network.
Looking ahead, Hong Kong's flag carrier, along with HK Express, expects to reach 100% of pre-COVID flights from January 2025.
The group forecasts heightened cargo demand and reduced fuel prices resulting in strong second-half financial results.
