Brii Biosciences (HKG:2137) resolved to buy back up to HK$60 million of shares in the open market, a Friday bourse filing said.
Chairman Zhi Hong earlier obtained approval from the board to purchase up to 2 million shares in the biopharmaceutical company.
To date, Hong has acquired 499,500 shares and holds a total of 41,297,815, or 5.65% shares in the firm's issued share capital.
