SEALSQ (LAES) said Friday its newest post-quantum cryptographic chips were used on WISeKey International (WKEY) unit WISeSat's satellites to support quantum-based cyber threat protection.
SEALSQ and WISeSat plan to convert data into particles of light and send it through a network of satellites, making the data harder to hack.
The next WISeSat launch with SpaceX is set for Jan. 14 from the Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.
WISeKey's shares jumped 31% in recent Friday trading, and SEALSQ climbed 15%.
