Kweichow Moutai (SHA:600519) could attain its 15% annual sales growth goal this year despite dismal consumer spending, Yicai Global reported, citing remarks by Chairman Zhang Deqin.
The Chinese liquor manufacturer's revenue jumped 17% year over year in the nine months ended Sept. 30 while profit grew 15% to 60.8 billion yuan, the report said.
Zhang said the company has established a relatively complete sales ecosystem comprising wholesale, e-commerce, retail, and direct sales channels, according to the report.
Kweichow Moutai will release its 2025 revenue growth target along with the 2024 year-end report, Yicai said.
