AAR to Divest Landing Gear Overhaul Business to GA Telesis for $51 Million

AAR (AIR) said Friday it has agreed to sell its Landing Gear Overhaul business to GA Telesis for $51 million.

The company's Landing Gear Overhaul business provides full-service landing gear maintenance, repair and overhaul services.

The transaction, expected to close in Q1 2025, will be immediately accretive to AAR's margins and earnings.

The sale is part of the company's strategy to optimize its portfolio by focusing on core functions that support growth and margin expansion.

AAR said it will continue to serve as the prime contractor for the US Air Force's Landing Gear Performance-based Logistics contract, while GA Telesis will subcontract ongoing maintenance services.
