ST Engineering to Provide Metro Technologies to Bangkok's New Orange Line

Singapore Technology Engineering's (SGX:S63) urban solutions business won contracts worth SG$180 million in September to provide solutions to the MRT Orange Line in Bangkok, according to a company release on Wednesday.

With ST Engineering's Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system and AGIL Platform Screen Door solution, the Orange Line will have real-time monitoring and control of its operations.

The company's urban solutions segment has delivered 23 smart metro projects in Bangkok since 2014.

The latest project takes the company's global track record to over 200 rail projects across 50 cities.
