Beijing Capital International Airport to Lease Security Equipment from Controlling Shareholder

Beijing Capital International Airport (HKG:0694) agreed to lease certain security inspection equipment from controlling shareholder Capital Airports for a term of three years, a Tuesday bourse filing said.

The equipment, including dual-view carry-on baggage X-ray machines, trace explosive detectors, and metal detection gates, among other things, will be used for security inspection purposes at Beijing Capital Airport.

The term of lease will begin Dec. 17, 2024, and end Dec. 16, 2027, according to the airport owner and operator.

Capital Airports holds around 58.96% of Beijing Capital International Airport's issued share capital.
