BYD's (SHE:002594, HKG:1211) Xi'an plant in Shaanxi province achieved its 2024 production target of 1 million vehicles as of Dec. 13, The Paper reported.

This was the first time that vehicle production exceeded 1 million units at the plant, which has been in operation for 20 years, according to the report.

The plant has four assembly lines in production at the same time, with a daily output ranging between 4,000 to 4,400 vehicles, The Paper wrote.
