Barrick Gold Submits Arbitration Request to ICSID For Mali Entities

Barrick Gold (GOLD) said Wednesday it has submitted a request for arbitration through its Mali-based operating entities at the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes.

The company said it is seeking to resolve disputes related to the Loulo-Gounkoto complex through arbitration under the Somilo and Gounkoto mining conventions with Mali.

Shares of Barrick Gold were down 1% in recent Wednesday trading.
