Marathon Petroleum Workers at Detroit Refinery Approve 7-Year Labor Agreement

Marathon Petroleum (MPC) said Monday its unionized workers at its Detroit refinery struck a seven-year collective bargaining agreement with the company after being on strike for more than three months.

The company said the "mutually beneficial" agreement was ratified on Saturday, which includes "significant wage increases, Teamsters health care, and a union pension," according to the International Brotherhood of Teamsters that represents Marathon's unionized workers.
