Tianjin Capital Environmental Protection (HKG:1065, SHA:600874) will sell the entire stake in its Hong Kong unit to controlling shareholder Tianjin Municipal Investment for about 30 million yuan, according to a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong exchange.
Upon completion, Tianjin Municipal Investment will take control of Tianjin Capital Environmental Protection (Hong Kong). The Hong Kong unit will no longer be a subsidiary of the company.
Shares of the company jumped 2% in Shanghai during Wednesday's morning trading.
