CATL says it will build over 1,000 battery swapping stations in 2025XIAMEN, China, Dec 18 (Reuters) - Chinese battery maker CATL 300750.SZ said on Wednesday it will build over 1,000 battery swapping stations next year and that it would invite other companies to build battery swapping stations with it.
Robin Zeng, chairman of the world's largest battery maker, told an event in the southern Chinese city of Xiamen that its so-called Choco-Swap battery swapping stations will use as much green energy as possible and play a role in stabilising the power grid.
