Enlight Renewable Energy (ENLT) said Monday it has arranged $550 million in debt financing for project Roadrunner, a 290-megawatt solar power generation and energy storage facility project near Tucson, Arizona.
The financing, through Enlight's Clenera Holdings subsidiary, will include a $290 million term loan and $320 million of tax equity funding, the company said.
Construction at the 1,200-acre site has already begun, and the company said the project is expected to start producing energy next year.
