Joshin Denki Co (TYO:8173) secured an MSCI ESG rating of AAA in November, marking its first time to have received the highest rating, according to a Friday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The rating reflects strong performance in managing environmental, social, and governance risks, driven by efforts in GHG emissions control, labor management, and corporate governance.
The company's rating improved from A to AAA as part of its ongoing commitment to sustainability and corporate value growth under its JT-2025 Management Plan.
