General Dynamics IT Unit Wins $5.6 Billion Contract to Modernize DoD Mission Partner Environment

General Dynamics (GD) General Dynamics Information Technology unit said Friday it won a $5.6 billion contract with the Air Force Mission Partner Capabilities Office to modernize and sustain the US Department of Defense's Mission Partner Environment.

The contract, awarded in November, covers a five-year base period with an additional five-year option.

The company said it will provide mission, cyber, and enterprise IT services, aiming to enhance interoperability with US government, non-government, and international coalition partners.

Shares of General Dynamics were up 2.4% in recent trading.
