1637 GMT - European consumers face more degradation of their online experience due to the Digital Markets Act, according to a new report from the U.S. tech group Chamber of Progress. The law bans companies like Google and Apple--two of the group's corporate partners according to its website--from favoring their own products over rivals' by linking them to the so-called core platform services like Google Search. "Google can no longer seamlessly integrate its suite of products--like Google Maps, Flights, and Hotels--into a single search result, forcing users to navigate multiple websites and apps for tasks that were once more streamlined," the group says. It adds that navigating services online has become "more cumbersome." Several of the group's partners are companies the DMA targets. (edith.hancock@wsj.com)
