1500 ET - Natural gas futures rise for the fourth consecutive session, rallying to their highest level since January 2023, as weather forecasts turn a bit colder. According to NatGasWeather.com, U.S. storage is expected to change little this week while "national demand will increase to moderate-high levels this weekend." Demand is likely to "again become very light" in the last week of the year. The forecaster adds that "cold air over the high latitudes/poles will have opportunity to move towards the mid-latitudes the first half of January." Natural gas futures rise 5% to $3.748.
