Humana (HUM) shares rose 6.1% in recent Friday trading as the company named Japan Mehta as chief information officer, effective Q1.
He succeeds Sam Deshpande who is retiring, the company said.
Mehta will oversee Humana's digital and technology organization and data systems. Previously, he had served as chief data officer at Citigroup (C).
