Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google is set to be declared guilty of violating Japan's Antimonopoly Act by the country's antitrust watchdog, Nikkei and other Japanese news agencies reported.
The Japan Fair Trade Commission is set to issue a cease and desist order asking Google to halt its allegedly monopolistic practices, the reports said.
Google has been accused of forcing smartphone manufacturers in Japan to install Google Play and its search app Chrome on their smartphones, according to the reports.
