Diana Shipping Signs $5 Million Time Charter Contract for Dry Bulk Vessel

Diana Shipping (DSX) said Friday one of its subsidiaries signed a time charter contract for its Kamsarmax dry bulk vessel Myrto with Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha from Tokyo.

The charter is expected start on Dec. 23 and will run until at least March 1, 2026, but can be extended to May 15, 2026.

The gross rate is $12,000 per day, minus a 5% commission paid to third parties. The deal is expected to generate nearly $5.11 million in gross revenue for the minimum scheduled period.
