Market Chatter: Singapore Post's Former CEO and CFO to Contest Termination

MT Newswires12-24

Singapore Post's (SGX:S08) former chief executive and chief financial officer have contested their terminations over a whistle-blower's report, The Straits Times on Monday, citing a joint statement.

Former CEO Vincent Phang and former CFO Vincent Yik were terminated on Dec. 21 after investigations concluded that its executives had been "grossly negligent" in handling a whistle-blower's report received earlier in 2024 about misconduct by company employees.

According to the report, both former executives rejected suggestions of gross negligence and added that they will "seek recourse against any allegations."
