Shares of Rigetti Computing were charging higher on Friday, following a record close by the quantum-computing services company a day prior.
The stock closed at $15.44 on Thursday, according to Dow Jones Market Data. So far, it seems on track to surpass that.
Rigetti stock gained 9% to $16.83 in early trading, putting it on pace for a fifth consecutive session of gains. Shares have soared more than 1,000% this year, on course for their best year on record, with investors cheering quantum as the next big stride in computing.
Peer stocks were also on the rise. Quantum Computing rallied 6.4%, D-Wave Quantum was up 2.1%, Quantum Corp. gained 6.2% higher, and Quantum-Si soared 52%.
