Sector Update: Tech Stocks Mixed Premarket Friday

Technology stocks were mixed premarket Friday as the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) was up 0.4% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) was 0.8% lower recently.

Docebo (DCBO) said late Thursday its outlook remains unchanged while announcing the departure of Sukaran Mehta as chief financial officer. Brandon Farber, senior vice president of finance, will serve as interim CFO. Docebo shares rose 6% pre-bell Friday.

Cerence (CRNC) shares were up 36% premarket Friday after the company said it expanded its partnership with Nvidia (NVDA) to support Cerence's CaLLM family of language models, including its cloud-based Cerence automotive large language model.

Apple's (AAPL) iPhone shipments to China fell 47.4% year-over-year in November to 3 million units, multiple media outlets reported Friday, citing data from the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology. Apple did not immediately respond to MT Newswires request for comment. Apple shares were down 0.5%.
