China Nonferrous Mining's (HKG:1258) Hong Kong unit will purchase about 3,152 metric tonnes of high grade copper cathodes for $29.9 million, according to a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange.
Generale des Carrieres et des Mines, a miner based in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, will sell the copper processed by CNM subsidiary Huachin Metal Leach to China Nonferrous Mining Hong Kong.
The agreement is for three months, from Jan. 1 till March 31, the filing said.
