China National Nuclear Power Achieves Commercial Operation at Fujian Nuclear Power Plant Unit

China National Nuclear Power (SHA:601985) said unit one of the Zhangzhou Nuclear Power Plant in China's Fujian province is ready for commercial operation.

This followed the company's completion of the unit's 168-hour full-power continuous operation assessment on Jan. 1, according to a same-day filing with the Shanghai bourse.

This also marked China National Nuclear Power's 26th nuclear power unit in commercial operation and raised the company's total installed capacity to 25.0 million kilowatts from 23.8 million kilowatts.

Shares of the power company slipped 1% in recent trade.
