Intuitive Machines, Nokia Complete Communication System Integration for Lunar Lander

Intuitive Machines (LUNR) and Nokia (NOK) said Tuesday that they have completed integrating Nokia's Lunar Surface Communication System into Intuitive Machines' IM-2 lunar lander.

The lunar lander, which is named Athena, will be sent to the moon's south pole region where the companies said they will deploy the first cellular network on the Moon.

The launch is expected to take place next month.
