Health care stocks were mixed premarket Tuesday with the Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLV) down 0.1% and the iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) recently up 0.2%.
Inari Medical (NARI) shares rallied past 21% after Stryker (SYK) said it signed a definitive agreement to acquire the company for a fully diluted equity value of about $4.9 billion.
CorMedix (CRMD) shares rose by more than 24% after the company reported preliminary Q4 net revenue of $31 million.
AbbVie (ABBV) shares were down 0.1% after the company said in a regulatory filing its Q4 earnings are expected to include acquired In-Process Research & Development and milestone expense of $1.57 billion on a pre-tax basis.
