Tongdao Liepin Group (HKG:6100) unit TD Elite (HK) Information Technology subscribed for $12 million of a wealth management product issued by The Bank of Montreal from Citigroup, a Tuesday bourse filing said.
The wealth management product is a principal-guaranteed, fixed-income wealth management product with an annual interest rate of 5.32%. The term of investment is five years.
The investment was funded by the surplus cash reserve of the group.
The move came about to put the talent services platform company's temporary idle funds to better use.
