CMOC Logs Year-On-Year Growth in 2024 Metals Production

CMOC Group's (HKG:3993, SHA:603993) output volume for most of its major products grew year on year in 2024, a Monday Hong Kong bourse filing said.

Cobalt recorded the highest year-on-year jump among the Chinese mining company's metals, with its production volume soaring 106% to 114,165 tons in 2024 from 55,526 tons in 2023.

Copper's production volume jumped 55% to 650,161 tons from 419,539 tons in the prior year, and the production volume of tungsten rose 4%, while those of niobium and phosphate fertilizer grew 5% and 1% respectively.

Molybdenum metal saw a 2% drop in production, from 15,635 tons in 2023 to 15,396 tons this year.
