Wind-Power Stocks Fall After Trump Says He Wants 'No Windmills' -- Market Talk

1502 GMT - Wind-power stocks in Europe fall after President-elect Donald Trump criticized wind turbines and said he wants a policy where "no windmills" are being built. Shares in European wind-turbine makers Vestas Wind Systems, Nordex and Siemens Energy fall 6.3%, 6.1% and 4.1%, respectively. Meanwhile, Danish renewable-energy company Orsted is down 6.4%, Portugal's EDP Renovaveis falls 4.8% and Germany's RWE trades 2.5% lower. "We're gonna try and have a policy where no windmills are being built," Trump said at a press conference Tuesday. (adria.calatayud@wsj.com)
