iShares US Energy ETF (IYE) added 0.3%, and Energy Select Sector SPDR (XLE) gained 0.1%.
Technology
Technology Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLK) was up 1.5%; iShares US Technology ETF (IYW) and iShares Expanded Tech Sector ETF (IGM) were also higher.
SPDR S&P Semiconductor (XSD) climbed 3.6%, and iShares Semiconductor (SOXX) advanced 3.8%.
Financial
Financial Select Sector SPDR (XLF) was up 0.5%. Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) rose 1.5%, and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) fell 1.4%.
Commodities
Crude oil was down 0.1%, and the United States Oil Fund (USO) dropped 0.5%. Natural gas jumped 9.2%, and the United States Natural Gas Fund (UNG) gained 8.3%.
Gold was 0.3% lower on Comex, and SPDR Gold Shares (GLD) dipped 0.2%. Silver rose 1.8%, and iShares Silver Trust (SLV) added 1.3%.
Consumer
Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR (XLP) fell 0.4%; Vanguard Consumer Staples ETF (VDC) and iShares Dow Jones US Consumer Goods (IYK) were also in the red.
Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR (XLY) was 0.4% higher; retail fund VanEck Vectors Retail ETF (RTH) and SPDR S&P Retail (XRT) were also rising.
Health Care
Health Care Select Sector SPDR (XLV) rose 0.5%, and iShares US Healthcare (IYH) and Vanguard Health Care ETF (VHT) also advanced. IShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) climbed 0.5%.
Industrial
Select Sector SPDR-Industrial (XLI) was up 0.2%, Vanguard Industrials (VIS) and iShares US Industrials (IYJ) also gained.
