0329 GMT - Malaysia's central bank is expected to maintain its overnight policy rate at 3.00% throughout 2025, BMI says in a note. With moderate inflation and a strong growth outlook, the central bank appears well-positioned to keep the policy rate unchanged for an extended period, says BMI, adding that there are risks that may lead to an earlier hike. The impending RON95 petrol subsidy reform could drive inflation higher, which could prompt the central bank to act sooner than later, it adds. (yingxian.wong@wsj.com)
