Chinese logistics companies see the potential for growth in Indonesia, owing to a growing economy and a multilingual workforce, the South China Morning Post reported Thursday, citing SF Holding (SHE:002352, HKG:6936) unit SF Supply Chain.
Among the avenues SF Supply Chain could grow in Indonesia is its drone logistics network, the report said, citing Managing Director for Hong Kong and Macau Michael Tung.
Indonesia has speakers of Chinese and other languages, the SCMP said, citing Tung.
SF Supply Chain is also mulling the application for a money lending license in the Southeast Asian nation. The development is a progression from its Hong Kong financing business, according to the report.
