Soochow Securities Gets Fined by Securities Regulator

Soochow Securities (SHA:601555) was fined by China's securities regulator for failing to exercise due diligence in two projects that involved non-public stock issuance.

The fines include 1.5 million yuan for the Gome Communications project and about 4.1 million yuan for Jilin Zixin Pharmaceutical.

The regulator also fined four responsible employees ranging from 100,000 yuan to 700,000 yuan and issued official warnings.

Shares of the securities company were down 1% in recent trade.
