Nvidia (NVDA) is collaborating with Hyundai Motor Group to combine artificial intelligence and other technologies and advance software-defined vehicles and robotics, the South Korean automaker said Thursday.
As part of the agreement, Hyundai will use Nvidia's accelerated computing software to manage the large amount of data needed to develop and train its AI models for various applications. It will also use the chipmaker's Omniverse platform to simulate its factory operations to improve manufacturing efficiencies and quality as well as Nvidia's Isaac to safely deploy AI robots.
Financial terms of the strategic partnership were not disclosed.
