Comtech Telecommunications (CMTL) said Monday that its board named Ken Traub as president and chief executive officer, succeeding John Ratigan, with immediate effect.
Traub joined the board on Oct. 31 and became executive chairman on Nov. 27, the company said.
Shares fell 44% following a jump in intraday trading volume to over 3.59 million from a daily average of about 507,000.
