Metallurgical of China Logs 12% Decline in New Contracts in 2024

Metallurgical Corporation of China (SHA:601618, HKG:1618), or MCC, logged a 12% year-over-year decrease in new contracts signed in 2024 to 1.248 trillion yuan, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.

Of this, the value of newly signed overseas contracts rose 49% year over year to 93.2 billion yuan.

In December 2024 alone, the construction engineering company signed four contracts with a value greater than 1 billion yuan each.

MCC shares rose 1% in recent trade in Shanghai.
