Innoscience (Suzhou) Technology Unit Files Patent Infringement Lawsuits

Innoscience (Suzhou) Technology (HKG:2577) unit InnoScience (Suzhou) Semiconductor filed complaints against three defendants with the Intermediate People's Court of Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, China, a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing said.

The China-based gallium nitride power semiconductor product seller claims the defendants infringed on patents related to a gallium nitride power device and preparation method held by InnoScience (Suzhou) Semiconductor and licensed to Innoscience (Suzhou) Technology.

The defendants comprise Infineon Technologies (China), its unit Infineon Technologies (Wuxi), and their value-added distributor, Suzhou Chipswork Electronics Technologies.

Infineon Technologies (China) is the importer and general distributor of the allegedly infringing products, comprising certain models of gallium nitride semiconductor devices.

Infineon Technologies (Wuxi) is the filing entity of Infineon's Chinese website on which the products are displayed and sold to customers in China.
