Hainan Airlines (SHA:600221) is planning to sell or lease nine B787-8 aircraft to optimize fleet structure, trim operational costs and boost profitability.
The transaction will be conducted via competitive negotiations and price discussions, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
The plan requires shareholder approval.
