China Longyuan Power Group Posts 9% Decline in January Power Generation

China Longyuan Power Group (SHE:001289) generated 6.4 million megawatt-hours of power in January, down from 7.0 million megawatt-hours the previous year.0

The 8.6% year-over-year decline is mainly due to the company no longer holding thermal power assets since October 2024, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.

However, wind power generation increased 2.4% and solar power generation surged 47.2%.
