Dongrui Food Group (SHE:001201) reported revenue of 139 million yuan from selling pigs in January, higher than 86 million yuan a year earlier, according to a Shenzhen Stock Exchange filing on Tuesday.
The Chinese meat processor sold 91,300 pigs for an average of 16.53 yuan per kilogram, compared with 57,800 pigs sold for an average of 15.36 yuan per kilogram in the prior year, the filing said.
The company's shares slid less than 2% in recent trade.
