** VICR shares among biggest gainers in S&P 1500 index .SPSUP, which is down 1.4% on the session

** Andover, Massachusetts-based modular power components manufacturer late Thurs posted adj EPS of 23 cents on rev of $96.2 mln, up ~4% y/y

** Avg estimates among 3 analysts covering VICR were for earnings of 21 cents/sh and rev of $91 mln, per LSEG data

** CEO Patrizio Vinciarelli said in statement licensing has been gaining traction with companies adopting its patented high-density power system solutions

** Avg analyst rating on VICR is "hold" with median PT of $50

** Including move on Fri, stock up 31% YTD vs ~2% decline in S&P 600 Industrials sector .SPSMCI
