Joyvio Food's Chilean Regulator Contests Environmental Regulator's Rejection of Breeding Center Compliance Plan

Joyvio Food's (SHE:300268) unit, Australis Seafood, contested the Chilean government's decision to reject the Caleta Fog breeding center plan, according to a Shenzhen Stock Exchange disclosure on Wednesday.

Australis submitted a compliance plan to Chile's environmental regulator to address the overproduction of its breeding centers, among them the Caleta Fog breeding center.

The Chinese protein product manufacturer submitted an application for administrative reconsideration to the environmental regulator to exempt it from penalties.

The company's shares closed less than 4% higher.
