BUZZ-Australia's Austin Engineering slumps on weak HY results

** Shares of Austin Engineering ANG.AX fall 6.5% to A$0.435

** Stock fell as much as 23.7% to A$0.355 earlier in the day, their lowest level since January 22, 2024

** Engineering co reports HY profit after tax attributable of A$10 million ($6.31 million), down 18% compared to last year

** Co also declares an interim dividend of 0.6 Australian cents per share

** 5.5 million shares change hands, 4.8 times the 30-day average of 1.2 million shares

** Stock down 15.7% YTD, including current session's moves
