Distribution services stocks gained the most on the New Zealand exchange, rising nearly 3% midday Thursday.
Vulcan Steel (NZE:VSL, ASX:VSL) shares rose nearly 3% in recent Thursday trade.
On the other hand, consumer durables shares dropped almost 4%.
KMD Brands (ASX:KMD, NZE:KMD) shares fell 1% in recent trade after the company appointed Brent Scrimshaw as group chief executive earlier this week.
