0736 GMT - Wharf REIC could face a challenging rental earnings outlook in the near term, DBS Group Research analysts write in a note. The Hong Kong-listed real estate company faces lingering headwinds such as a strong local currency and macroeconomic uncertainties, they say. This is likely to continue dampening visitor and domestic spending and weigh on the company's retail rental income in the near term, they add. DBS lowers the stock's rating to hold from buy, as there are no near-term catalysts seen ahead. It has a target price on the stock of HK$22.11, which is last at HK$19.58.(amanda.lee@wsj.com)
