EVgo, Toyota Collaborate on Fast Charging Stations in California

EVgo (EVGO) has opened direct-current fast charging stations in Baldwin Park and Sacramento, California, in partnership with Toyota Motor (TM) unit Toyota Motor North America, the companies said Tuesday.

The charging stations are owned and operated by EVgo, while Toyota participated through a program that aids transition of underserved communities to transport electrification. The stations consist of 350 kilo-watt fast chargers, the companies said.

EVgo has also extended its charging program with complimentary charging for customers who buy certain Toyota crossover electric vehicles.

Other financial terms of the participation were not disclosed.
